Topaz Studio 2 is a program devoted exclusively to photo and image editing. This means that it has more options to choose from than other general-purpose image editors. For example, rather than simply having the basic color, brightness, and contrast filters, it has also Exposure, Clarity, Shadow, Highlight, Black, and White options among its Basic options. This allows you to fine-tune your work to the least detail.
The program is simple to use. You only need to choose the image you want to edit, and start playing with the different filters and options. This is really fun and can produce unexpectedly good results. But if you don't like the result, you always can undo and redo each and every step until you achieve the desired outcome.
Regarding the filters, the program has an astounding amount of them so you can choose among a huge variety. And not only that; each filter has its own options so you can adjust them until you are satisfied. Of course, you can apply as many filters as you want.
Once you have the image you desire, you can save the entire project, or export the image to the most popular image formats. You can also choose the color profile, quality, and folder where you want to save your image.
The only disadvantages I found were that the program may take a while to apply some of the changes. Nevertheless, this depends on your system's speed, so if you have a fast machine, this won't be an issue. Another minor disadvantage is that the installation file needs to download additional files. This may slow down the installation process.
If you like to creatively edit your images, you may want to give this program a try.
